Lion's Den Experience

Daniel 6:16-17

16 So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!”17 A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the rings of his nobles, so that Daniel’s situation might not be changed.

This is one of the really harsh realities of life which an individual had to face while he was standing for the truth and what was right. I wonder about the great predicament Daniel was in. He was almost the second in command in administration for the kingdom. A person of such status being subject to humiliation and  disgrace as he was arrested and made to walk towards the punishing grounds. All this because he did what was right!. I wonder what was God's plan in all this. I do not know your situation today in life, what you are going through. But as I write this blog I am going through a similar experience. The walk ahead seems so difficult with the disgrace and shame as everything seems to an end. We stood for what is right, we did what is right, stood for the biblical values, were passionate for God and His kingdom works, helped people beyond cast creed and religion. But as I write this today on 31st Jan 2019 everything seem to come crashing down.

Why God has forgotten us and hid His face from us is the question that keeps rising in heart. But all I know is that my God knows my future. He knows the end as He is the Alpha and Omega. Whatever happens our life is for His glory and His will be done in our life. Daniels experience had a purpose- To demonstrate His sovereignty and declaration that He is the only God in entire land. God has a purpose in everything. I don't know if there will be another post on this site or this project will see the light of the day. But in everything we are going to praise Him. Let His name alone be glorified and His will alone be done.

God bless you all.
